3. Biometric & Body Data (Fit Tool)

To recommend the right running shoe for you, our fit tool may ask for:

• Age and body weight
• Foot measurements: length, width, arch height, and arch flexibility (from your foot scan or self-measurement)

How we use this data

Fit data is used solely to generate a personalized shoe recommendation. We do not sell, rent, or trade your biometric or body measurement data to third parties for marketing, advertising, or profiling purposes.

How long we keep it

If you have an account, your fit data is stored with your profile so you don't need to re-enter it. You may delete your fit data at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us at the address in Section 12. If you use the fit tool without an account, data is processed in your session and is not retained after you leave.

State-specific biometric laws

Several U.S. states — including Illinois (BIPA), Texas, and Washington — have specific laws governing the collection and storage of biometric identifiers. Commission Junction (CJ Affiliate)

We are a member of the Commission Junction affiliate network, operated by Conversant LLC. CJ may use cookies and tracking technologies to attribute purchases to our Site. What “aggregated and anonymized” means

Before any data is included in a market report, it is stripped of all personal identifiers (name, email, account ID) and combined with data from many other users so that no individual can be identified. For example, a report might state that “49% of users who completed the fit tool have a narrow foot width” — it would never name or identify who those users are.

What is never shared

• Your name, email address, or any other direct identifier
• Your individual fit measurements linked to you personally
• Any data that could reasonably be used to re-identify you

Your opt-out right

If you prefer that your data not be included in aggregated market research — even in anonymized form — you may opt out by contacting us at the address in Section 13. Opting out does not affect your ability to use the Site or the fit tool.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

• Account data: Retained until you delete your account.
• Fit/biometric data: Deleted upon account deletion or on request.
• Contact form submissions: Retained for up to 2 years for record-keeping, then deleted.
• Analytics data: Governed by Google's retention policies (typically 26 months).

10. Your Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the following rights:

• Right to know: Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
• Right to delete: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
